Interesting! I haven't heard that at all.
I tried to use a winetag at the commi today for $2 off beef NWPN. I was told by the manager that they no longer took winetags because an email came out last year that stated that DeCA was not getting reimbursed for them. Has anyone else been told this? I looked at the Directive and there is no mention of it. TIA!

This is what our commissary told me.
The commissary does not accept Winetags because they do not sell alcohol. Since the alcohol company reimburses the store, and the commissary does not sell alcohol therefore they do not accept coupons they can't get reimbursed for.
However the mini-mart sells alcohol and does accept winetags!
I've used them before. I haven't seen an official policy...??
I use winetags frequently. In fact I just used about 30 of them day before yesterday. I've never had a problem. I wonder if its different here in HI because we don't have to have an alcohol purchase, so it wouldn't matter if the commi sold alcohol or not??

I used them in HI all the time too without any problems. I just think it was a BS excuse because the Q was unfamiliar to them. Oh well, I used it at the Super-Walmart here!
