Default COMMISSARY: question about schick qs

This is for future reference should another $2/1 any disposable comes out. The one I had expired 6/21. On 6/19 I was denied use of this coupon at macdill afb comm. They carry the .69 slimtwin pack.

I was told it was not allowed, they just had a meeting about it and she could get a manager if I wasn't happy about it. I had popsicles melting and she already had gone through half my stuff for other coupons so I told her to take it off.

It was the one that reads $2/1 any (one) schick disposable. Doesn't exclude trials. She told me it wasn't pictured so it wasn't allowed.

Is this one not allowed on trials? I know the schick coupons are so ambiguous with the wording and hard to tell. It was the very first time I even found them in a commissary so I don't remember past threads about this coupon.

    Anyone know?

I used that same coupon probably 5 times in the past month or so with no problems.

They were mistaken. I use these at my store all the time. On my last trip I had a cashier who was new to overage, and she took the coupon to the back office and showed it to the Asst Manager and he ok'ed it. She was gone a very long time, so I'm sure he read all the fine print, etc.

This was two weeks ago at the Holloman AFB store.

Thanks. I even told her it's impossible to picture every single item a brand sells on their coupons and she still told me no.

Should another one come out I will push the issue if I have problems.

Here's the link to the DeCA coupon policy starting on page 41:

I would print it out along with the front page and have it on hand as back-up. As long as you are complying with the terms of the coupon i.e. one per person, they can't deny you the overage. HTH!

It wasn't the overage she was denying me (although denying the coupon did lead to that). She was saying the coupon wasn't valid on trial or small packages because the coupon shows larger packages on it.

I had other trial size overage coupons with me that worked fine. (the st. ives scrub and a few others).
