    Default COMMISSARY: My Overage Problem

Hello guys, I know we all have our problems with this, but this was really my first time (with this problem)....They wouldn't give me overage on the ky coupons or on any other coupons. They told me the policy had changed and I told them, I don't think it has. But, I was nice and went on with my order. I saved 81%. I got soap, Gillette, smart choice, and axe shower gel, oh and TP tonight. So, I ended up not getting the KY, I told her to take the 10 off that I bought, only because I wanted to save them for another time. But, she took one off and added 3. I told her she was adding and so she took 3 off and went on, I told her I think she still needs to take 3 off and she insisted it was right. Even tried to show me. But, I just gave up and ended up having to take it to the service desk and they took it off.

Okay, the coupon policy on here, is it the current one?
Should I email deca and get a new one?

I love it, they just updated the coupon policy here...http://www.commissaries.com/inside_d...0_6_JN2007.pdf and it says.....
    n. Valid coupons will be entered at the value stated on the coupon. If the value of the coupon exceeds the cost of the product, the customer will be given the full value of the coupon.
So now, I need to print it out and make sure they get it I guess, or have it in casese I have more problems.......

page 44, it's a beautiful thing! I'm so glad they changed the wording to make easier for the employees to understand. I'm printing out page 1 and page 44, just so they don't think I pulled it from some other stores policy even though it says "DeCAD" in the top right corner of the page when you print out pg 44.

Thanks for this. I have no problems with my store, but I will pass it on to my friends and family at other bases. I love that the new definition is so straightforward there is no wiggle room for debate. It's also in red text, which is awesome.

For those looking for it, it's on page 44 of the document, but for some reason comes up under page 48 when I skip to us using the adobe menu (hope that makes sense). It says the update was made on 4/2/09.

For those having issues with snarky employees, I say print this in color, and throw it at them at the first sign of resistance. DeCa has made it perfectly clear that YOU ARE RIGHT!

    Happy shopping!:smile77:

They just did the same thing to DH today! They would not take the Pace coupon at all. No adjusting it down, no overage, nothing.... He had another insert coupon they refused too because the product cost less. He's not like me, he just put the items back and didn't fight it. Me, I would;ve asked for management and quoted DECA policy. Oh well, at least he didn't buy the products at full price.

Raj: I don't like bugs, okay? They freak me out.
Sheldon: Interesting. You're afraid of insects and women. Ladybugs must render you catatonic.

Thanks so much for the info on the update, printed the revised version out (just the coupon chapter!) and replaced the older in my binder! I've only had one cashier give me problems with overage, and even her supervisor said adjust the price down. I was livid, but accepted it because arguing with them does absolutely nothing!
