Commissary: PCSing and stockpile
So DH just got his orders. What can I take (be allowed by moving company) to take with me?
Items I am intrested in:
-Cereal
-Granola bars
-Baking betty Crocker type supplies
-Pasta
-Contacts lens solution (stock up at CVS and moving to land of no CVS)
-Mounth was (bottles are mfr. sealed)
I realize I will not have a problem moving 30 packs of diapers, wipes, alum. foil, toliet paper, paper towles
Would they let me take it? Can I just pack it myself into plastic bin and they will mark it as "packed by owner"?
Sorry, if it is not allowed to ask random questions here, but it is hard to find military and couponers on a same thread/board.

Re: PCSing and stockpile
When we have PCS'd they have just not moved open liquids and chemicals. Everything else has been packed with out any questions. And, that has included overseas moves.

Re: PCSing and stockpile
I've had various results. Some say no liquids, even sealed and others are fine with any sealed liquids, just no open ones. Btw some consider toothpaste a liquid. I would ask the mover.

Re: PCSing and stockpile
I'm facing the same situation in a few months. I'm not sure what moving service we'll get, but here are some guidelines from Mayflower. They're probably similar between the various providers.
