Default COMMISSARY Is this a new coupon rule?

I could have been doing this wrong all this time or this could be new, please help. I had a coupon for 1.50 off 3 boxes of cereal and a coupon for 3$ off milk when you buy 3 boxes of cereal. I thought I could use both because one is just for milk and one is just for cereal. They didn't say off milk and cereal but off milk when you buy cereal. The cashier said a vendor told her you could but the cashier manager said NO, because in the fine print it says can not be used with any other coupon. Well, I wasn't using any other coupon on the milk, but it was still no. Anyone know if this is new or if I just always did it wrong?

if this is what you did, then, i don't see a problem; however, it's YMMV at any store to use a bxgx with $/1 coupon

    cereal 1
    cereal 2
    cereal 3
    -150/3 cereal
    milk
    -free milk wyb 3 cereal

It wasn't a free when you buy coupon for milk but 3$ off milk, a dollar off coupon, though it did make it free because it was on sale. But I bought 3 boxes of cereal and used a 1.50 off 3 coupon for those. then I bought a gallon of milk and used a 3$ off any gallon of milk when you buy 3 boxes of cereal. thanks

I've done that trans twice and had no problems.

My thinking was the same as yours, 1 Q for cereal, one Q for milk!

I don't think you are doing anything wrong, that's how I do it, too. Maybe you should write the commissary manager about it? Explain the details of the coupons EXACTLY, so that there is no dispute on whether you were using 2 coupons on cereal.

yes, i knew that sorry- doh.

actually, my gallon milk was $1.84 so i got the overage. the $3 coupon i have is good on milk and does NOT specify a size nor does it have the "up to" wording.

I have run into this problem at our commissary as well. I call our manager the coupon police :)

Well, apparently it is against DECA policy to allow both coupons to used. My coupon police here are on top of it as well. I didn't know that when I was trying to use it though, I always thought if it were on two different products it was ok.
