Monistat Coupon Denied Today

My Monistat coupon was denied today because they said I did not buy one of the ones in the picture. The cashier was confused about the overage (as usual) and she went to get the supervisor. The supervisor didn't have a problem with the overage, she just said that it wasn't a Monistat product. I pointed out that the wipes said Monistat right on the box and then she said that it wasn't the one pictured so they would not take the coupons. This was Ft. Belvoir (which I had problems with a nasty cashier last month). This time, they were nice, just refused the coupons. Has anyone else had this problem?

Which monistat coupon are you using? What is the exact wording?

It is the one that says "Save $4.00 on Any MONISTAT or e.p.t. Product". It expires 1/31/09 and has a picture of 3 Monistat items and 1 ept item. It is from an insert and I have used it many times in the past. However, it is true that the picture does not have the wipes pictured. The supervisor told me that they have determined that this coupon does not include the wipes.

I used those at belvoir before but it was about 8 months ago. I wish I had more of those coupons! I did use them on the wipes.

I'm no help am I? Good luck. It says any so it's covered but I would email monistat and ask them if you can use it on the wipes and then take the email to the commissary when they tell you yes. A coupon with wording any on it doesn't sound like the manufacturer would say no.

I wondered who "they" were too. I have emailed Monistat to see what they say.

My store tried to refuse these last week. But then looked at the coupon and saw it says any..... Apparently some one was using the $4/ Monistat yeast infection coupon on the wipes, and so a ton got a denied. But-they should take the ones that say any....

I wonder if that was the problem. Maybe someone did try to use the yeast ones (not me) and they just assumed they were the same coupon.

If I were you, I would try again. Check with customer service before you shop. Good luck!!

I have had PH commi try to stop me from using coupons because the product wasn't pictured. My response was that the company made X number of products and did they really expect every one of those to pictured on a little piece of paper?!?! Then I went on about how the coupon said ANY product and that legally, the verbage had to be followed. They let me use the coupons after that!

Somehow, I don't think that contacting the manufacturer would make an impression on your local store, but I think an email from DeCA HQ would! Good luck and let us know what happens.
