Overseas using expired coupons question

I'm collecting expired coupons for a fellow sub wife in Japan...I started clipping my stacks and I'm left wondering if they all work... do B1G1 still work? What about rebates? I'm assuming not.

last i knew, all/any manf coupons are accepted for up to 6 months after exp date.

rebates are trash after the postmark by date.

that is correct. also, do not bother sending cosmetic coupons. sometimes i get those a lot when i receive coupons. it just wastes posatge.

Also any of your 'local' dairy products aren't needed. We get Hood and Garelick coupons here in NH but I know that neither brand is available in the bases that I send to.

I've also been told no vitamins or hair color coupons, but that might vary by base.

probably because the comm does not carry cosmetics...but, the exchange should. don't they take exp coupons also ?

If someone wants to send me an address I would be happy to send them my expired coupons!! I clip everything and then usually throw away what I don't use!!

we have a thread in our Expireds forum where there's a list of HCW members who are stationed overseas. (You can follow the link in my signature below) If you pm one of the the members on the list, you can ask for their address and get rid of some of your expireds!!

no cosmetics since the comsy does not carry them. and no, the px does not take expireds. we do have hair dye and some vitamins at our commissary. hth.

I'm in Germany and our PX does take expireds! Actually the PX will only take expireds for 3 months after the date but they do take them. Maybe it depends on the location?
