Wow, that's awesome! I usually pay about $20-30 for $300 of groceries, but we have no extra freezer and an itty bitty apartment, so it's hard to store things. I'm desperately trying to get DH to let me get a freezer. (He's sees it as spending, not "saving")

I have to ask, did they scan each coupon for the monistat, KY, etc? My store won't do it any other way, so my cashouts take like 40 minutes!

I wish they would not scan each coupon individually (or the monistat and KY either). Today my cashier scanned one monistat for some reason and then ALL the coupons for the monistat. Then she was confused why the screen was showing a negative balance. I didn't even know the register would let her do that. She had to call the supervisor. I explained what the cashier had done and I could tell the supervisor thought the cashier was an idiot. I did get my overage without as much of a hassle as last time but of course the supervisor did get called over again about the overage on the items but the supervisor said "does the coupon say Monistat -- did she buy Monistat? Then it is okay". Again, I could tell she thought the cashier was an idiot.

I had $1 Q's for the Purell, making the 2 oz. size only 3 cents each. Insert coupons but I don't remember which insert. Yest the $2Q works on the .51 trial size of Back& body.

Oh. My idiot cashier also was scanning coupons one at a time. I was concerned about my frozen food as it was taking a LONG time. She was slow and liked to chit chat. So I asked if a supervisor could ring the coupons in groups. The register would only allow groups of 5 coupons at a time. But at least that speeded things up, and the supervisor was MUCH faster.

Default I just save 97%

Total before coupons...$649.99. After coupons...$47.15.. Including surcharge. To make it better, I paid with my aspergers sons EBT card (food stamps) which happened to have EXACTLY $47.15 available on it! I didn't pay a dime! (I use his ebt card because he would only waste it all on cookies candy and soda. He lives in my house and eats my groceries)

The small Purells are on sale for .83 thru 6/30 ( I think that is what it was). So overage again on those.

The PowerAde for .65 had coupons on the cases....Buy 10 bottles, and get a free case of Dasanai water! I got 60 bottles using the .75 coupons (overage again!) and then got 6 free cases of water!!

I also cleaned out their intuition razors for $3.90 and Womens Quattro razors for $3.90 and used my $4 coupons.

When my cashier notice that my Excedrin coupons were for $2 and that it only cost .51, she brought the coupons to a supervisor. The supervisor looked up at me and said. "Oh...it is her. Don't
worry, it is ok....she knows what she is doing." What a great day this was...Thanks again HCW. You have really changed my life!

Congrats on getting such great savings and such great deals!

Moreover, CONGRATS on having a commissary who actually understands that getting overage is ALWAYS OK.

Sorry---the issue charlestonmom is having with her commissary is hitting close to home right now (literally, since we both live in the Charleston area).
