Who's giving away the KY at the commissary?

LOL- I went today and got a small order of KY with a few bags of groceries.
The bagger saw my order and said I didn't need to buy any of that-they were giving it out free. Then she went and grabbed a box full and tried to give me some.

I had to explain I wanted to buy them. Then we had a nice conversation about them trying to give it away randomly and "jello (ky) wrestling".

I gave 12 bottles away last time to my bagger for the first time and also let him take a few boxes of excedrin. I'm ordering another case of each in next week, so I'll probably do it again.

my only concern -- they have no receipt for the stuff...how can they prove it's theirs if checker or mgr were to ask ?

I give them KY if they want it (they don't any more usually) and I give them the Monistat Cool Wipes -- they definitely want those!! I also let them have the receipt so they can show it came as a gift from a customer-- and the store management know I give the stuff away to the checkers & baggers so it's all good. :)

I asked about this, and he didn't seem to think it'd be a problem. He may have taken it straight to his car. Also on that particular day the manager knew I'd done an order, and neither of those items were on shelves (excedrin never is) so I'm sure if he told her he got it from me, she would have believed him.

I've resorted to getting rid of it on freecycle now. I've gotten rid of 82 so far with some more people asking about it.
