How Do I Convert a NonCouponer ?

I word hate to speak out of threadtopic...but im curious..i have a friend who is married to a guy in the army..and im 99percent sure(have no clue how i came up with that # lol) that she doesn't coupon..
im curious is it alright to ask, how much they get a year on average? if i think its really low im def goin to push her to coupon. i can only talk to her over the internet so ..anyone have any ideas to convert her if she doesn't already?

tell her the commissary shoppers MOD at HCW saves at least 50% off my total every trip. and most of the time i have 85+% and even up to 100% off...

Show her copies of your receipts. My friend is having a lot of financial problems and can't afford food. I told her husband about the whole overage/KY thing and he had absolutely no interest until I pulled out a huge receipt that said I'd saved 96% and paid only 26.50 for two weeks of food. He was sold as soon as he saw it. Now I have to coupon hunt for both families. :-D

I wouldn't ask them their pay or anything, unless it something you already talk about, but just explain that you know how things are in the military and share your success stories.

My parents (retired AF) were much the same way...never couponed, never went to the commissary, then after about two months of me calling and emailing and bragging, they finally said, "You win, HOW do you do it?"
