Special Ordering: Monistat Wipes, Glucerna, Glade

Last week I placed a SO for Excedrin, Glucerna, Monistat Wipes and Glade Oil Warmers. Someone just left a voice mail and said my Excedrin is in, but the others are for "larger stores and require special permission" I guess this person is going to work on said permission, but I'm a little nervous about it and may tell him to forget it.

So, if you're at a smaller store like mine, you may not be able to Special Order those items without an added bit of hassle.

Where are you? I placed a SO (my first) for the excedrine and the glade about a week and a half ago and have not heard anything yet. I was wondering how long it usually takes to get the SO items in. Now I am a bit nervous, I hope they come in before my coupons expire.

It took about a week for him to get back to me. Maybe you could call your store and see if there is someone you can talk to. The first time I placed an order for KY (which my store carries) no one bothered to contact me. I had to call them.

check with your store to confirm but my store director told me, if they do NOT normally stock the SO item(s), you will be obligated to buy the entire SO....and you cannot prepay.

I was told the same thing as PMFan about SO items that the store does not normally carry. You are obligated to purchase the entire case at whatever the current price is, regardless of what the price was when you ordered the case. You cannot prepay and you cannot use expired coupons on it (unless you are overseas where it is allowed).

Thanks for the heads up, I called my commissary today and they had all 4 cases of my SO, they just had not called me!
