Default Clearance Deal-- Punches plus storage

I don't know if this was specific to my Michael's, but they had several EK Success punches on clearance. The regular punches were $2.99-4.99 & 1 border punch was $7.99. Plus, they had the plastic storage container for the regular punches marked down to $2.99 & the cleaning/maintenance kit for $2.99.

Default Michael's "Clearance Event"

I went by Michael's today and they had a sign out front declaring a "Clearance Event."

It might be worth checking out. I heard on another website (craft-related) that this typically means they'll be doing a reset, so now would be a good time to pick up really cheap stuff!

And, don't forget, if you have your Joann's Educator Discount card, you'll get an additional 15% off regular & sale prices. Just make sure they don't take it (I had a cashier try to do this once!).

I'll post my finds in the "Brag" forum.

Default Clearance Event!!! HUGE SIZZIX DEAL (Over 90% OFF!)

RUN, don't walk, to Michael's if you're a scrapbooker or card-maker!

I found the following AWESOME deals:

-Still had some EK Success punches on clearance ($4.99)
-Tons of embellishments, card & envelope packs, etc. (didn't really look at prices closely, but ranged from .99-2.99 approx.)
-A few small individual Sizzlets for .97

THE BEST DEAL OF ALL:

Sizzix Sizzlets COMPLETE ALPHABETS on sale for $9.99 ($9.97?), regularly $149-189!!! And they were cute alphabets!

Don't forget your competitor Joann Educator Discount coupon, if you have it! That made the alphas a whopping $8.49! OVER 90% OFF!

Hot Button Re: Michael's Brag

I got (10) of the Sizzix Alphas today between (3) Michael's stores too - all for about $105.00

The (10) I got (and, as far as I know these are the ONLY ones on ultra clearance right now) -

Endless Love
Garden Delight
Funky Brush
Curlie Girlie
Mac-n-Cheese
Sunset
Alphabet Bubbles
Boxed Brush
Girls are Weird
Rat-a-Tat!

They would have cost about $1500.00 not on clearance

SUCH a great deal!!!! I wasn't able to use any coupons (I tried) cause they were already on clearance. That's o.k. though

FYI - this was around the Detroit area. I called ahead and 10 out of at least 15 stores I called were completely out of them already.

Default Re: Michael's Brag

Another find recently at Michael's!

All Martha Stewart items:

4 different acrylic stamp sets @ 2.99 each (2 were monogram/wedding type sets & 2 baby/kid sets)

They are (this is what is on the package):
Clear "New Baby" stamps
Clear Toy Transportation stamps
Wedding Cake Stamp Set
Laurel Stamp Set

Also, many different styles of the 12x12 Multi Media pads for $5.99

I bought Cool Colors & Warm Colors "School Days" pads. They also had several different baby style and a travel theme. Those are the only ones I remember.

I didn't buy any, but I remember some cardstock packs were $1.99 and a couple of punches were $2.99.

There is a 40% off coupon for Martha Stewart craft supplies in the June issue of MSL, if anyone is interested. Juat thought I'd pass it along.

Today at my Michaels' right by the front doors, they had Christmas clearance grab-bags priced at $2.00 each. You know I had to buy one.. based on how big the bags are, I knew I'd get at least $2 worth of stuff that I could use.

There were 2 bundles of cinnamon scented pinecones, 5 big Red Velvet bows, 2 smaller ones, 1) Santa hats, 2) Stockings, 3 Christmas-y clear rubber stamps, a package of Christmas scrapbook (small squares) paper, 2) Peanut mobile foam kits, 4 holiday sticker sheets, and some other stuff that I can't remember offhand.
