HELP Quick question?

What do you use the 40% and 50% coupons for? One of my friends says that every week she uses it and she goes and buys cake pans, and other cake items...I was thinking about doing that, but was wondering what else I could use it for?

The 50% coupon from last weekend expires tomorrow...so what should I use it on?

If there's nothing I need for a project that I've got going on, then I use it on the precut plastic canvas shape packages to get stocked up for using it to make tree ornaments. I like paying .60 for 5 shapes much better than $1.19.

I think it depends on what types of crafts you're into. Say you knew you were going to be making an afghan or a sweater or something, then you could buy one skein per
week until you had enough for the finished product. (as long as you made sure the dye lots match.)

Or if you were going to be doing a scrapbooking project in the future, and knew you'd be needing of supplies for that you could start buying a little bit at a time.

Also, the coupons limit you to one per day, but that's not saying that you couldn't go on a mission to find more than one flyer with the coupon per week and go back another day(s).

I usually use the coupon for scrapbook stuff. I have also used them for the blank note cards.

I usually use them for scrapbook items over $10. I really need to go use one to buy a new decorative flag to hang out front...the wind is ripping it to shreds. I wish I could use them for "cricut" items.

The value of those coupons is variable. If one buys (for example) a $200.00 dollar item, they are worth a considerable amount of money.
I personally would select an item of high value that would definitely improve the quality of daily life for a long time.
A nice set of curtains can really brighten up a home, and provide insulation against heat and cold....just a thought

If I don't really have anything I *NEED* from Michaels that week and I have a coupon, I tend to go for a roll of Parchment paper in the baking section, since I never get a coupon for it in the grocery stores.

Same goes for cupcake liners! Those things can be pricey when not on sale.
