Freebies & Cheap Salsa - Week of 10/25

There are some decent deals at Menards this week: free floor cleaner and super glue, plus $.79 Chi-Chi's salsa and a $.99 bird feeder. Check it out here!

I'm thinking I'll do this scenario:

4 salsa @ $1.79 = $7.16
2 wiper blades @ $1.50 = $3
Total = $10.16 of non-FAR stuff
Plus free super glue and floor cleaner...
Get the super glue and cleaner free, plus $4 back from the salsa.

What's the deal with the salsa? Is there a rebate on it or coupons?

It's on sale for $1.79 with a $1 rebate, limit 4. I checked for coupons too but didn't really find anything.

so, I take it that Menard's is a hardware store? ... and they sell Salsa? ... (sitting here scratching my head in wonder) ... I gotta see one of these stores one of these days! You're lucky if you can buy water or a soda in our hardware stores!

Menards is definitely guy land -- get all your tools, food, deodorant, and a little air freshener in case you forgot to use your deodorant. My Dad practically lives in that store and my hubby is a close second!

Okay, one more question...can I buy the two FAR items AND all the salsa in the same transaction and still get all the rebates? And the rebate forms are at the front counter, correct? I've never done Menards rebates before, but we need salsa!!

Over-aged tomboy here ... my preferred order of shopping:
grocery store, lumberyard and/or hardware store, ...... clothes (I'm so hard to fit :sad:)

Probably good thing we don't have one around ... combine my two favorite -- food and tools!!, I'd never come home!! At least DH would know where to find me!!

Yep, it's a hardware store. I think the food selection may actually vary by store. If you look at their online ad, some of the grocery deals say "available at our mega locations," which apparently have grocery and pet sections.

Yes, in fact, I think that's the best way to do it. To get the Menards freebies, you're also supposed to buy $10 worth of stuff that's not free. The FAQ for this forum say, however, that you can use other rebated non-free items to help meet your $10. Gift cards are also a possibility. And yes, the rebate forms should be at the store, although you can also go here and print out the rebate form using the code on your receipt, if you forget or can't find the form.

Menards is great for food and cleaning supply bargains. I got a huge supply of p-nut butter for next to nothing a few months ago.
