QUESTION Nervous about mailing off rebates

Hi! I've only done Menard's rebates a couple of times, and always for a small amount. This month, I went wacko and did all 13 FAR items, as well as the St. Ive's. (You should see the length of the CRT lol)

I've read in a few places that it's okay to send all of your rebates together. I would love to do that, as the postage would be really costly to do them separate. But, I guess I am looking for some reassurance that everything would work out okay even with 14 different rebates, totalling over $90.

Has anyone ever mailed this quantity together before? Should I call first, to check? Thanks for any help.

Glor

i'd do 5 to an envelope, spreading the 3 highest single rebates out between the 3 envelopes. the store credit postcard only has 5 or 6 spots for the rebates it lists.

I have send in at least 10 rebates in the same envelope and I was fine. I does state on the rebate form that as long as they all have the same PO Box, you can put them in the same envelope.

If they have the same PO Box I send them in the same envelope. I think the most I have had at one time is 6 and they sent me 2 rebate checks one with 5 on it and one with one on it but had no problem getting them.

I always send as many as I can, usually 9 or 10 per envie. I use the scale at the post office to check the weight before I seal it as I goofed once and got it back "RTS-insufficient postage". Still received the rebates even though I had to re-send 'em after the "expiration" date. Menards is very forgiving of missed dates, probably because the store credit is going to force you back into the store. It's the only store I shop where I can't just buy the free or cheap rebate stuff, my house is worse than a spoiled child -- so-o-o-o demanding & needy!

Copy everything, so if it gets lost, you have proof. I scan stuff to my computer and delete the file once I get the rebate. I also mark on my calendar when I send off the rebate. So, if I don't hear anything in 6-8 weeks, I will contact the company.
