OK I hate to say this but it appears that some of the MPerks coupons are now manufacturer coupons and cannot be combined with other coupons. I was pretty upset today when my $3.00/2 Lipton coupon and $2.00/2 I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter coupon did not come off. But it is possible that they were manufacturer coupons and they didn’t work because I used paper coupons on those products. I didn’t notice the change beforehand and now that they are gone I have no way of knowing.
It looks like the only way to tell which MPerks are store coupons and which are manufacturer is to read the “terms and exclusions” for each coupon. Store coupons will say “Not to be combined with any other Meijer Discount Coupons”, and manufacturer coupons should say “No other coupon may be used with this coupon” and give a remittance address.
What I don’t know yet is if you can combine MPerks manufacturer coupons with Mealbox coupons. They do say “No other coupon may be used with this coupon”, but so does all paper manufacturer coupons and we’re able to use store coupons with those. Meijer’s coupon policy allows one manufacturer coupon and one store coupon per item. So in my opinion one MPerks manufacturer coupon and one Mealbox store coupon would not be in violation of their policy. But that may not be how their register system handles it.
