Sure thing, you must love produce like me. I live in a tiny apartment and can't have a garden of any size. I tried hanging a basket thing similar to a Topsy Turvey one year because tomatoes are my #1 favorite food, but the whole setup was a big waste of time.

I live in a very rural area where lots of people have gardens so you would think that I could score at farmer's markets but with the price of food at the stores everyone keeps everything for themselves.

If the organic carrots on sale turn out not to be Earthbound Farm you can still use the Q at Wal-Mart, they have regular size carrots priced less then $1.00.

I also use the Earthbound Farm Q at Meijer on organic green onions. Sometimes they go on sale for $1.00 and sometimes they put them on an unadvertised price drop.

Do you like lettuce? My favorite lettuce is Living Lettuce and Meijer sells it for $1.50. I know that sounds like a lot but it comes in a plastic hydroponic container with the roods still on it, and I've kept it fresh in the fridge before for two months. Wal-Mart carries it too but for twice the price.

    Oops, sorry for babbling.

Just a warning for anyone who might be using the EB farms organic coupon. When the carrots are less than the coupon value (less than $2.00 for one) I have had trouble with the Uscan adjusting the coupon down to the value for one package (e.g. if package is $1.50, it adjusts it to that). So keep an eye on it when you scan the coupon.

Yes, I had always had that problem with them until the last time the carrots were on sale, and it worked fine then. It was a month or so ago and the carrots were on sale for $.99 each and the coupon adjusted down to $1.98, the price of two instead of $.99; I was very surprised. But still, it's always a good idea to watch all of your Qs every time at Meijer. I love Meijer, it's my favorite store but their registers are known to do strange things for no apparent reason.

My store had blackberries for $0.50/container today. I don't *think* it was in the ad but I was very happy. I still had a raincheck from last time but it was about to expire. It was nice to not need it! I have a blackberry cobbler in the oven right now for tomorrow. Yum!
