Welcome to the Meijer Thanksgiving Contest!!


Here's how it works! I'm going to list a menu for Thanksgiving dinner.. the member that can work out the cheapest deal for the entire dinner using Meijer sales and current available coupons will win!

You may only post a deal once so make sure you've got the cheapest deal possible before posting!

But wait you say! So I'm going to work out my deal and then others will use it as a base for theirs! Not so my little Meijer friends! You will only post your final cost in the thread! You will write out your deal and PM it to me!!! That way it's fair for all... everyone has to start from scratch!

I repeat... You will NOT post your deal in the thread... just your final cost!

You must have everything on the menu in your deal... NO home mailer coupons allowed in the deal... you must use coupons that are available to most everyone and are current at this time! When you list out your deal in the PM to me... you must list what coupons you used to get your deals!

So now you're saying...Ohhhh I'm so excited but what will I win?? I'm glad you asked! The winner of this fabulous (if I do say so myself) contest will win a $10 Meijer Gift Card for their very own!!!!!

The contest will end on Thanksgiving Evening at 7:00 pm EST ~ The winner will be posted on Friday by 5:00 pm EST!

Turkey ~ Must be between 16 and 20 pounds
Stuffing
Mashed Potatoes with Butter
Sweet Potatoes with Butter and Brown Sugar
Gravy
Green Bean Casserole
Corn
Rolls/Bread
Cranberry Sauce
Pumpkin Pie with Whipped Cream
Coffee and Milk to drink

Well, I stole the gun, used some 90% Halloween makeup as camo & Ricky fetched the turkey for a Beggin' Strip. I think I's gonna win!

Okay I just have to price the Cranberry Sauce and then I will have an entry. I can't find the price online and since I do not see it in this week's circular I will have to look when I am in the store unless someone knows how much the Meijer brand canned runs.
