Extreme Couponing show being taped at Dewitt Meijer next week

I talked to a clerk at the Dewitt, MI Meijer this morning. She said that there is a lady coming in to do an episode of Extreme Couponing there next week!! Anyone here know who that might be???

I think I'll follow her around and help her understand when she is violating the coupon policy and clearing the shelves and taking an hour in the checkout lane

I hope it's a crappy sale week and she can't get anything. I wonder if she gets the ad for that week well ahead of time, because as of lately there hasn't been anything worth going to Meijer for....

That's a great idea! The Meijer stores in Michigan that I shop at only allow double coupon up to .50 on two like items.

It's gonna be pretty hard to do extreme couponing with those policies.

If Meijer is going to allow one shopper to use unlimited double coupons, I think they should do the same for the rest of us : )

It would very stupid for Meijers to let her get away with doubling more then two coupons,I know I would stop shopping thier for at least a long time!!! I so hope and pray for all of us that they stop making it worse for us to use our coupons,pray everyone!!!!

OH NO, not Meijer!!! That's one more store down the rathole. I thought they were smarter than that! Just looked at the online ad, and it's .50 doubles, limit 2 THIS week. Can you get more details about the day? I'd seriously consider a road trip just to observe the spectacle.

Look what's happened since the pilot and Season 1. Several stores, including Kroger, Price Chopper, Albertson's, and the big pharmacy chains have made changes to their doubles and limits. Kroger took away doubles and triples completely in the Houston Metro area in April. Now other areas of TX have been affected too.
