Coupon Issues w/anyone else?

At my Lafayette, IN store the register has unlimited doubles (not for long according to the staff--that's another issue). My order last week was:
(4) Duncan Hines
(2) Birdseye
(2) Freshlike
(2) Hunt's

I had 4 Duncan Hines $.50 q's--all doubled, 1 $.50/2 for Birdseye & 1 for Freshlike--both doubled, the Hunt's were $1.69 & my $2 coupon adjusted on the 1st, but the 2nd scanned & said Coupon Error (or something to that nature) and VOIDED off all my coupons! Cashier rescanned & it again, the last coupon, voided off all my coupons. The 3rd try wouldn't recognize my Birdseye saying I didn't purchase it & my cashier finally got smart & manually put in $1.69 for the last one.

Has this happened to anyone else? Anyone have an explanation on it? It's quite annoying & has brought my business to Walmart w/their lovely new coupon policy :)

My 4 coupons disappeared this morning but the cashier noticed and fixed them.

I shop at Lafayette as well, but did my DH brownie mix earlier in the week. Just curious what the cashier said, are all doubles going away? or just more than 2?

This store needs to get it together. It varies depending on who you talk to! I personally was told that they will only double 4 like coupons & they will only take IP's now if there are dots in the box w/the exp. date. Not all print w/that in them! I was actually hoping you could email the SM like before to see if she gives you any update on any new policy?

My Greenwood, Indiana Meijer has done the same thing with coupons disappearing. They are also not very friendly about coupons and have a huge attitude about them. It would not surprise me if they start some new coupon policy soon. The managers are even very strict about coupons.

My Splenda coupons did it this Saturday on orders that just included Splenda. I have had it happen a few times before too. It still baffles me. You just never know which order will get the void.

mandm777- I go to that store too. I stick with the younger cashiers. There is a woman there with blond hair, her name is Marie, she is great with coupons. She fixed all my voided coupons with no issue at all. She also doesn't mind multiple transactions. Joseph is also good with coupons. I haven't had too many issues lately, but I always make sure I get a good cashier. If you are willing to go, the Southport store has been great with coupons lately. There are a few select cashiers there too. Britney is great.

There was an older lady with short hair that checked me out the other day at the Greenwood Meijer and she was soooooo mean, I felt so embarrassed, I wanted to cry. I will be looking for these cashiers :) Also, are the Catalina's still printing for the Splenda or is that over? Thanks so much for your pointers!!!!

I am truly beginnign to hate the lafayette Meijer store. here is what I have been told about the new policy so far. Only four of the same coupons will double and I was told the same thing about IP's that they have to have the dots and watermarks. I have also been told that you will be limited to 12 of any liek item and then you can only use 6 coupons on those 12 items. They are also condsidering limiting the number of tansactions you can do. I said that is fine I will bring my husband and five kids along shopping to get around transaction limits. I work full time and can only get to Meijer on Saturday's. I have also been taking more of my business to Walmart now that they have a clear coupon policy.

Am I the only one tempted to take a highlighter to my Smart Source printed coupons? As far as I know, only coupons.com coupons have the yellow dots.

They are going against their own policy for coupons with the dot issue.

We accept all valid internet coupons. These coupons must be presented before or on the expiration date. See store for additional details

I emailed Meijer about my Laf. issues for coupon limits and dots but still have not heard back yet. On Saturday, I was told by Cathy that her boss Amy changed the policy last Wednesday. Only 6 like coupons, only 12 like items. No coupons without the dots in the barcode. She did not mention doubles to me.

I avoid the older cashiers. Every single one I have encountered there has been very impatient and some are downright mean. One even told me that they should ban coupon people from the store.

The Splenda deal should be running through tomorrow (Wednesday) for us. I am hoping so anyway, I just got a few more coupons for it today.
