Green Giant Meijer Custom Coupon!!!

Update 1.2 9/16/2010: It printed for me today, and they hand wrote me some custom coupons for the ones that did not print on Sunday. I still have no idea what happened with this or why they posted it as a misprint and then changed their mind, but I'll take it!

Update: 9/16/2010--got a message on my VM yesterday, something about this custom coupon not working until Tuesday, but now working. I still have not got a hold of the guy to confirm what was meant by this, but others are reporting in this thread that the $2.00 OYNO custom coupon is printing now.

I was at Meijer this a.m. checking out and noticed that the $2.00 OYNO wyb 3 GG vegs Meijer custom coupon wasn't printing. The cashier checked and I was shown a sign (not hung up yet) that indicates that the catalina offer was a mistake and was not supposed to be in the ad. The green giant catalina (sponsored by General Mills, for the boxed only) is still valid, but the Meijer Custom Coupon will NOT print. I am thinking of writing Meijer corporate because it stinks that they cancelled it without warning the first day, but I guess I should be grateful they told me in time to stop buying the Steamers I was going to buy.

In my ad it looks like it is for the boxed veggies only and not the steamers anyway. It shows a boxed kind and also says it is not for the Boxed Asparagus. So I just assumed it was for the boxed. So the $1 off 3 printed and the other for $2 off 3 is a misprint??? Meijer needs to get it together. I just started back with them and this makes me want to go back to kroger and GE. I am not sure what you mean by the $1.00 off 3. The one in the ad is for $2.00 OYNO wyb 3. This one is a misprint and should not have been in the ad per the Meijer I was at this morning. Based on how it was worded in the ad, it should have worked for boxed or steamers. The General Mills catalina is still running but only applies to the boxed.

The GM cat is get $1 wyb 4. It would have been nice to get the Meijer custom coupon for $2 wyb 3 + the GM cat for $1 wyb 4. I was really looking forward to stocking my freezer!

I'm surprised that they would pull it considering it's on the front page of the ad!

JulieK, I was surprised too, but he did show me the sign. I would encourage whoever is trying for this to see how their store is handling it. I did write an email to corporate but I'm not sure when I will hear back. I anticipate they are going to get some angry folks over this--even non-couponers--who just went to the store to get cheap veggies.

Bumping to see if anyone's store is handling this differently. I noticed that they still have the reference to the Meijer custom coupon on the online ad. This is going to make a lot of people upset.

I stopped to pick up some soup. There was a big sign on the front entrance door. I saw it on my way in today.

I had not planned on buying any so I didn't go down the freezer aisle.
