Mealbox coupon trouble at Lafayette, IN today...

I was really upset about this. Today, I went to purchase 8 Relaxing Moments Glade candles, use the SCO, scanned all of my coupons then I knew the Mealbox coupon would beep, scanned the first coupon and was told that I could only use one. It was a higher up there not a regular cashier that told me this and would not allow it. She kept re-reading me the coupon and said that I was combining more than one coupon. I did this yesterday only buying four candles and did not have any problems at all. Anyone else having trouble lately? It really annoyed me.

I had a similar problem a few weeks ago at the Greenwood Meijer. Some of the mealbox ones didn't some off and I didn't notice. I went to the service desk and argued for a half hour there. They said the same thing, you are only allowed to use one. Of course this was the one time that I didn't have my coupon policy with me. I said your very wrong, but fine, then returned everything. Since I had coupons for everything, I made them go through the drawer and get all of my coupons out. (They were only going to give me back the amount I paid after coupons.) They were definately not happy with me and I am sure that I am on their lookout list now. I just won't shop at that one anymore.

I pass another Meijer on my way home, so I just went there and used them with no issue at all.

I don't know why they don't know their own policy. It is pretty bad when a customer knows more about it than employees. I am half tempted to print a copy out and tape it to each of the registers.

when you print out a mmbq does it not state that you CAN use a MFG and MMB together? i was thinking it said that right above the q....i have yet to run into a problem with them not let me combining them but i also go through self check out and i go during slow times so when i annoy the cashier i dont upset the other customers. i generally shop at the Marion store and sometimes the Kokomo. I did go to the indy stores(which run their deals 4 days later) this week to use the $5/5 kraft coupons and they did not want to scan and the cashier was super great about getting them to work!

I had no problems last weekend at the Lafayette store. I used 6 of the same mealbox coupons. My suggestion would be to call and speak to Stephanie. I have talked to her several times and she is very helpful. She will be able to tell you if there has been a policy change. Please let me know what you find out before I go to the store tomorrow.

I have been to the one in Lafayette and I had issues, but it was a long time ago. I go to the one in Highland or Merrillville and I usually dont have any issues, yet!
