Meijer ~ Question Meijer not accepting SS IEs?

I went to my Meijer tonight (Midland, MI) and was told that they are no longer accepting SS IEs because they don't get reimbursed for them, that they are "like fraudulant or something" according to the cashier. She said that they are still accepting them from coupons.com and other sources though. I didn't have the time or desire to ask to speak to a Mngr and I plan to call coporate tomorrow. Has anybody else run into this?

I haven't heard of this, but then again I haven't used a single coupon in about three weeks. My guess is it is store specific. Go to the SS website and click on the help link at the bottom. Through there you should be able to print a letter to take to your store explaining about the SS coupons and how to tell if they are valid.

No, but many Meijer's downstate in Detroit area (in my experience) do not accept any IP's.

Try posting this on their Facebook page - it's very active and others can let you know if their stores do/do not.

Ooh, yes, I've complained on their facebook page and gotten a response from the person who runs it.
