Meijer newbie - please check my scenario

I haven't been to Meijer in years... But my friend just gave me a mailer with 3 $5/20 coupons so I am itching to go and get some deals. I have been reading in this forum and read the FAQs, and think I am ready with my plan of attack. Will this work?

$3.87 (3) Aunt Millie's bread/buns
$3.00 (2) Smucker's jelly
$4.00 (2) Crystal Light
$2.50 (1) A1 sauce
$7.56 (4) Kraft dressing

= $20.93

- $5/$20

= $15.93

- $3.30 (3 x $.55/1 Aunt Millie's - I checked and my store does double)
- $1.00 ($1/2 Smuckers)
- $3.00 ($1/2 Crystal Light and 2 x $1/1 Crystal Light mealbox)
- $2.10 ($.55/1 A1 doubled and $1/1 mealbox)
- $4.00 (4 x $1/1 mealbox, not sure if I have any of the other Kraft qs)

= $2.53, earn $3 OYNO for the Kraft

Is this possible? Are they going to look at me like I have 2 heads? Thanks in advance!

A few suggestions:

Double check how many your Meijer will double. Most will only double two like coupons per transaction.

Buy a third Crystal Light (of whatever the qualifying kind is, see in the weekly thread) and get a free pack of 12 or 24 (can't remember) pack of Meijer bottled water.

Wow, thanks, so it will be even better than what I typed up? I can't believe it. I may have to become a regular Meijer shopper. It's a bit farther than the other stores and usually chaotic but if I can get stuff for free...

Start hanging out in the weekly threads. There are deals to be had and we have a great group of people who contribute so everyone knows what they are.

Make sure that your store doubles coupons that are over 50 cents. Most only double two like coupons that are 50 cents and under.

You also need to be careful with the Mealbox Q's. Sometimes they will only ring up one mealbox q per order, sometimes only two. When I am using more than one mealbox q for a specific item (like the Crystal Light in your scenario) I go to the cashiers that know how to handle the mealbox q's to make sure they type them in correctly.

Good advice, thanks! Should I ask at customer service about using more than one of the same Mealbox q? I definitely want to be able to use 4 of the Kraft ones or my scenario is shot.

Check your 5/2 SS for Kraft Dressing coupons. Some got $.55/1 some got $1/2. :) and yes I would ask the person at cs, though some cashiers like to make up their own rule so make sure you get a name of who you talked to. BTW--my store doubles unlimited so it varies from store to store--another thing to ask :)

Awesome. I found the $1/2 mqs so I am going to use those. I also printed out the Meijer coupon policy from their website to take with me - no mention of a limit on Mealbox coupons.

In most cases the wording on the Mealbox coupon changes when we are only allowed to use one per order. Almost all of the Mealbox coupons don't have the wording that limits the number that can be used in one order. But, the cashiers don't always know how to get the system to accept the coupons. Definetly can't hurt to talk to CS and get the scoop at your particular store(s).
