Meijer ~ Good Deal: Meijer-Hormel Pepperoni - GDA

I didn't see this posted before. Found a cardboard display in the meat dept this morning with this deal...buy 2 Hormel Pepperoni, get one Hormel Pepperoni Minis or Snacks free up to $2.89. The Minis are a 5 oz bag of teeny-tiny pepperonis (they will go great in my pasta salad!). The Snacks are a pack of six individual snack size packages, not sure of the total ounces.

I think this deal runs through the end of the month but I don't remember the actual end date. I'll check on my next trip

They were all on sale for $2.98 and I used three $.55 coupons

(my Meijer doubles up to two like coupons) for the following deal:

3 x $2.98 = $8.94
less 1 free = $2.89
less 2 x $.55 doubled= $2.00
less 1 x $.55 = $.55
total OOP = $3.50 for 3 packs or $1.17 each!

Watch out with those mini pepperoni. The bag I got a few months ago was way too spicy. I loaded up my son's bagel pizzas and he couldn't eat them with the pepperoni on them. I called the company to ask if they were supposed to be really spicy and they said no. I have been afraid to get them again though. I might try them again at this price. I paid full price (I DID WHAT!!!!!) when I got them the first time. At this price though, if we don't like them, it isn't a big waste.
