The last bullet point says that it can't be applied to previous purchases, so does this mean if you forget a coupon you can't go back and get reimbursed? I do that a lot, especially if I send DH, he always forgets them at home.
Meijer now has a posted coupon policy online. It doesn't address doubling or anything of that sort, but there is some useful information.

Meijer Coupon Policy
Coupons are a great way to save extra money when shopping with us, and we have made it easy to use them at our stores.
When accepting coupons, Meijer uses the following guidelines:
If you would like to see a list from the Coupon Information Corporation showing the most recent counterfeit coupons, click the following link: New Counterfeit Coupons Identified
- We accept two kinds of coupons; Meijer issued coupons and manufacturer coupons.
- Only one manufacturer coupon and one Meijer coupon for the same item will be accepted (unless prohibited).
- Mealbox coupons are considered Meijer coupons.
- We accept all valid internet coupons. See store for details.
- We reserve the right to limit quantities.
- If the value of the coupon is more than the price of the item after discounts or coupons are applied, the value of the coupon will be applied up to the price of the item.
- We do not apply the excess value of a coupon to the order total if the value of the coupon is over the price of the item after discounts or coupons are applied.
- Only coupons for products carried in our stores will be accepted.
- All coupons should be given to the cashier while you’re checking out and cannot be applied to a previous purchase.
The last bullet point says that it can't be applied to previous purchases, so does this mean if you forget a coupon you can't go back and get reimbursed? I do that a lot, especially if I send DH, he always forgets them at home.
That is how I read it.
Meijer quit doing that at my store about a month ago. So your interpretation is correct. ALL coupons must be presented at the register when purchasing. CS won't reimburse any longer.
This started just after not accepting other store catalinas (even tho they say mfr coupon on them) for any DOLLAR OFF amounts. This is posted at the registers.
You know what, if they don't want to redeem coupons that I may have forgotten on a previous purchase, that seems pretty short sighted, because I'll just return the product. That might cost me on rare occasions if the product is no longer on sale, but oh well.
They DID indeed stop accepting coupons if you forget them. Matter of fact they chose to throw out 30 jars of mayo rather than honor the coupons I forgot. I called and complained all the way to the top and told them if they are going to change their policies then they post something online and make customers aware of the change. Even though the change was not posted anywhere, and I had no idea about this new rule that handed down to all the stores.........they absolutely REFUSED to budge on....they would NOT even make a one time exception since this rule was unknown.........so I brought back all 30 jars of mayo......what a flipping waste. I even asked the customer service person to get the Assistant store manager (whom I had spoken with about this incident) and gave them one last chance to make it right.......it didn't matter. He came marching up with his little attitude........I told him who I was and that I spoke to him on the phone. He just directed the cashier to refund my money and I just said WOW.......Meijer would rather throw their money away than make money.......nothing ceases to amaze me. UGH.........I REALLY super wish we had more options of stores to shop at around here.
