Meijer ~ Question MEIJER - BC Fruit Snack $4 instant discount offer

I bought these last night and the $4 instant didn't come off. Do I call Catalina or Meijer corp or what?

I know its offered in this area because the other Meijer which uses the same ad, same county, had the sign up. But this Meijer didn't. So customer service wouldn't do anything. Afterall I had no way to prove it was being offered. I got these a few nights ago at another store with the sign and my $4 came off fine. I got 3 boxes of the same this time around, but...

I think the reason is because 1 grabbed a box of some crazy feet printed fruit by the foot, which must be closeout or something as it rang $1.29 (?) instead of $1.75. I think that messed things up, maybe that UPC isn't programmed for the $4 even though fruit by the foot is included in the deal. So the computer thought I only got 3 eligible boxes instead of 4 ??

Anyway, I just don't know who to call since I don't have "proof" of the deal printed anywhere. And I don't know if its a Catalina thing or strictly a Meijer thing. HELP!

Well I've looked through the ad I have.. and online.. and there is nothing about this deal.. ugh. My store had the little yellow tags too... it's not a Catalina promo it's a Meijer one.. so you would have to call Meijer... hopefully they will have some answer for you. :(

Could you take the fruit snacks you got last night without the sign to the Meijer with the sign and explain it and maybe they could fix it for you since at least they would know what you are talking about? I would think that since both are Meijer stores that you should be able to take it back to any Meijer store.

Doubtful, i had something similar before and they say its the other stores computer that made the error so they have to correct it.

Anywho, i called corp and they gave me the run around about diff stores having different policies and promos....yeah ok. Transferred me to the store mgr at said store and he said to take his name and they would fix it next time i was in. Not really a solution to the issue but at least to my one instance of it.

If they don't fix it, I would just return them and then go buy them at the other store. I have done it when cats didn't print. Sometimes it is easier to just return it, then try to explain to several people what happened and what needs to be done.

I've read that it's only the gushers & the roll-ups, not the fruit snack/shapes type.

The sign I saw today had specific sizes on it. Not all the fruit things were included. I wish I would have grabbed the sign. I did manage to get the right ones somehow though. And a $3.50 OYNO. I know that the Roll-ups minis were not included on the sign.

Rollup Minis worked for me :) Got all varieties of Gushers, Reg. rollups & the minis. No problems w/the instant off or the cat.
