How about 4 Fruit by the Foot, and 1 fruit shapes, so you still get the $4 instant, but can use one 40/1 doubled. Compared to just the 4 you make an extra nickel profit and get one more item (with a box top).

5 @ $1.75 = $8.75
- $.80 ($0.40/1 Q doubled)
- $2 (2 - $1/2 Q)
- $4 instantly
= $1.95
Get $3.50 OYNO Cat
= $1.55 MM

The only thing that I see off with this is that the Fruit Snacks are not on "sale" at my store...they are $1.87 I think, but still a money maker, and then you get to use the .40/1 double too!

I tried the deal using the fruit shapes--no $4 off. Of course, you would still get the catalina, but I passed.

The "Stickerz" don't work either...

As in OP...the best way to do this deal is with (4) foot/rollup/gusher

4 foot/rollup pay $7 less $4 instant less $2 cpns less $2.50 cat earned. That would yield a $1.50 MM.

If you want as much fruit snacks as you can...get the 4 gusher/rollups/foot and 1 shapes. You drop your profit by 9c but get a 5th box of fruit snacks. And I'm not certain but that 5th box might count toward your 10 for the BTFE cat.

4x$1.75 -$1/2 (or 50c/2 dbld) x2
1x$1.89 -40c/1 dbld

This will yield you the $3.50 catalina & the $4 instant.

$8.89 - $4 instant - $2.80 cpns - $3.50 cat = $1.41 profit.

The gusher/foot/rollup are the only ones that count for $4 instant, but you need a 5th box for the $3.50 cat, and the shapes $1.89-40c/1 cpn is better than getting a 5th gusher/rollup $1.75 with no cpn as the 40c is not valid on those.

Has anyone tried to do this buying 8 at a time? Will the $4 come off twice, like it did with the GM cereal last week?? I know that you would only get the one $3.50 catalina, but all 8 would count towards the Box Tops...and you would get $8 off for the 8 boxes, and could use four of the $1/2 peelies. So, it would be $14 before deductions, and $2 after deductions and MQ's, and you would earn $3.50...so still a $1.50 money maker, and eight boxes towards the BTFE Bonus. Just curious if anyone has tried this...I may try it myself :)

Not sure if you would get the $4 twice, I assume so based on previous deals tho. I've got plenty of the other items to get the BTFE so seperate trans 4/per works out better for me.

I did this deal tonight and also saw that the BC granola bars are having their own cat deal the same as the fruit snacks. So I got on the same order:

5 x BC Fruit Snacks @ 1.75 = 8.75
less: $4 instant savings for Fruit Snacks
less: 2 $1/2 peelies
5 x BC Granola Bars @ $2.50 = 12.50
less: 5 x .40/1 MQ (my store does not double)

Equals - $13.25
less 2 $3.50 OYNO = 6.25

Plus I got the 70 bonus Box Tops.

I know that it is late in the day to be reporting this since the deal ends tonight...but I can confirm that if you buy 8 boxes in one transaction you do get the $4.00 off twice. (so $1 off each box.) I can also confirm the the catalinas do roll. I used one just to try it out near the end of my transactions tonight, and it did take the $3.50 off AND printed another $3.50 catalina.
