Hanes socks, almost FREE! TODAY 12/7

Anyone else know other prices? I'll be looking this afternoon, but was hoping for some idea of prices on adult items.

The men's boxers were ~8.49 and men's socks ~ 8 something if I remember correctly.

Women's undies were 7.99 and women's socks were 6.49 and 9.99. At the store I went to the boy's socks were 4.29. I got three packs of socks for $3.05. Not bad. That includes tax. Actually, they were 5 cents for me. Last week the cheese cat didn't print so they gave me a bunch of their custom coupon things. I got 18 packs, but that is besides the point. Little tip, if your store is out, find the stocker in that department and ask very nicely to look in back for you. I bought some socks for my son, but also bought a lot for the Salvation Army toy Christmas giveaway, I told the girl my plan for them and she brought out a whole cart load for me. I didn't need them all, but she said since I was nice about it, she thought she'd bring out a lot. Most things were gone from the salesfloor, but she said in back they had a bunch. They have to restock it on Sunday. I think the empty spaces are intentional. They don't want to give away the socks. I may go back tomorrow and get more. My son loves these socks.

I also loved this sale and felt that Meijer was in no hurry to restock as empty spaces opened up in their displays! Also, many displays at all of the Meijers where I shopped didn't even have signs up to call attention to the sale! So, use the price checker to double check.

Here's a tip that helped me...look for other Hanes sock displays that may be outside the "sock dept" on endcaps or those powerwing areas that they hang cardboard displayers sent by the manufacturers. I found many of the 3-pks of the "pretty" Hanes socks (and black) which were about 60 cents a pair.

vbc99- I go to that store too. I also go the Southport one when I can't find what I am looking for. Do you know if they have any more of the boys crew socks in large? I believe they have the blue stripe on them. I don't want to waste gas since I am coming from Shelbyville. It takes 1/4 tank in my van. I tried calling them, but noone from that dept. would answer my call.

I'm going to try to get out to the Southport Rd store today. If I do, I'll check for you and post to let you know what I find.

Nope, no large crews at Southport Rd. It looked like a tornado hit the display, in both the men's and boys' departments.
