Meijer; Green Works detergent markdown plus printing $3.00 OYNO & $3.00 Man Q

Today I purchased a bottle of Green Works laundry detergent still on markdown for $6.99 until the 28th, with my last $3.00 IP and a $3.00 OYNO Cat from purchasing GW last week. I have been rolling that deal for weeks now and it printed the $3.00 OYNO again, but it also printed a $3.00 off a bottle of GW detergent Man Q. I thought I was done with this deal because I ran out of IPs, but I guess I can roll it several more times next weekend as long as it prints the $3.00 Man Q each time.

Do you know how long the 3.00 oyno cat will be printing? What about the 3.00 mfg that spit out? Any end date on that?

The $3.00 ONYO shelf tag said 11-28, same as the temporary price drop. The $3.00 Man doesn’t give any details, all I know is it wasn’t printing the two previous Saturdays.

Even though this is a good deal, this detergent SUCKS! It didn't get anything clean that I had dirty, ended up re-washing w/Tide which got everything out.

If you’re used to using Tide I don’t think anything else would compare. But I always buy the cheaper stuff like Purex and Arm & Hammer, which ever is the better deal at the time. The only thing I consider too cheap and will only use if I’m desperate is Sun and Xtra. I never buy Tide, Cheer, or All unless I can get it for the same price.

I have several jugs of Green Works now and if I find it doesn’t clean well enough there are a few tricks I’ve done before. Use ½ and ½ with a better detergent like the All I picked up recently. I also do this with my dish detergent, I’ll mix Dawn with Joy and Ajax. If I don’t have a more expensive detergent handy I’ll add a laundry booster like baking soda or washing soda. Washing soda is fairly inexpensive considering it only takes a tablespoon or two per load, but I always have baking soda already so I usually go with that. I also often recycle the baking soda from my fridge and freezers for that and other things instead of just throwing it out.

I just returned from Meijer and this deal is alive and kicking! I bought 10 bottles at $1.41 each ($6.99 - $3.00 MFC - $3.00 OYNO).

The $3 OYNO expires 12/7/09 and has NO WORDING about additional cats not printing when used.

The $3 MFC that prints also expires 12/7/09.

The cashier had to override every time - but she didn't blink an eye.

Does Green Works make a detergent for HE washers?? My parents got us a frontload HE washer/dryer for a wedding gift and so far the only HE detergent that I've found is Tide.
