Meijer-Kool-aid singles rainchecks and OYNO cats

Just want to check with you all to see what your opinions are on this issue. I have a raincheck for the kool-aid singles, limit 12 at last week sale price of $1. The cats will still be printing thru 9/12, so IF Meijer has stock available this week, how will the raincheck work if I want to do 3 at a time. If they insist on doing 12 at once then the offer is not the same as it was last week when I could have earned a $2 cat for each 3. Any idea how Meijer does rainchecks like this?

I believe you have to buy them all at once. Good luck. Our Meijer was out all week, I think they intentionally didn't restock.

I have had cashiers do it both ways. The ones that know me will let me break up the orders and the ones that don't, won't. LOL

So if I need to try to break up orders I will go when I know my good cashiers are working and get it done quickly and try to not be a bother to them with it.

Exactly. It's always so hit or miss. I try to get as many rainchecks as I can on stuff like this so I can break them up if necessary. I'm pretty sure my Meijer is purposefully not restocked a FEW things I have rainchecks for, but that's neither here nor there.

DH is planning to stop after work tomorrow night, so maybe he will get one of his usual coupon friendly cashiers. We still have rainchecks from 3 weeks ago and they still have not had stock when we were there. Me thinks they know when they do or do not *want* to restock. Makes me just a tiny bit crazy.

If you are only purchasing 3, see if they will cross off the "12" on your rain check and write in "9" and give it back. They offered to do that for me. I was there this morning and they finally restocked and I was able to get my 12 in 4 transactions. I was doing Uscan and it wasn't a busy time—that probably makes a difference. I got all 4 of my ONYOs.

how do you get the u scan to work? the mbq won't work any longer there - I tried to do that before and had to have the cashier help - dont' like it as I can't just stand and go for it like the jello last year:( I ended up only doing this a few times as it was sooooo busy and I held up the world:( any ideas? Also, how do you key in the numbers, what numbers do you use??? all of them??? thx thx thx

Yay!!! it worked! DH got the kool-aid in groups of 3, used the mb q's, got the $2 oyno's...promptly rolled it all into canned cat food today.

If you use the u-scan, you key in the code from the coupon just like if you key in the code for produce or bakery. BUT it always says "please wait for assistance" when we do it. Seems there should be an easier way.
