Meijer: Mealbox coupon question-long

I went to meijer today and tried to check out with 6 hormel compleats, 4 lysol wipes. I had 2 lysol mealbox coupons and 2 hormel mealbox coupons. I also had the corresponding mauf. coupons. I put through all the manuf. coupons and then it took off the first Hormel I scanned and then the other three didn't take off anything. Usually they just enter them manually. All 3 cashiers that helped told me they would get written up if they pushed them through, so we voided the whole thing and I broke up the transactions. The first one was 3 hormels, no problems. Next one with 3 hormels, would not scan. They told me it was because I had already used one, well what if I was a different customer? Then they tried to tell me that the coupon could only be used once, period, no matter who used it, that it was an email coupon that I had sent to me and was only to be used once, blah blah blah... I told them to forget the rest and I would come back later. What's the deal with it not taking the money off of the order? I've never had this problem before, should I write to corporate to get a letter and carry it with me? I really don't want to be a pain in the ass, but every time I go it's a new excuse, my Meijer is turning into Walgreens. Thanks in advance for any thoughts. Sorry again for so long.

I don't know what the deal is with the mealbox q's. I used 3 yesterday for the yogurt only one came off even though they typed 2 in. The today I took someone to do it and told her to watch her receipt. Sure enough it didn't tkae any off! So watch your receipts!

I hate the MB q's!! They always have to be put in manually. Definitely watch your receipts though.

While the new wording on the coupon should be clear enough for even the most uninformed cashier to interrupt, you can print the MB q(s) directly from their site and take the whole sheet of paper in to help make it even more clearer; this message prints at the top of the page:

PLEASE NOTE: If your coupons are being cut by a page break, please return to the Specials tab, locate the coupon that is being cut, click on it and select Print from the top of MealBox. This will allow you to print a single coupon and avoid it being interrupted by a page break. Meijer MealBox coupons can be combined with Manufacturer coupons. Only one Meijer MealBox and one Manufacturer coupon per item.

I used 2 of the pizza and 2 of the mac & cheese cups today same order and all of them came off. Lately they have been typing in the barcode when the coupon does not scan. Some of them will just take it off as a $ amount so it can be hard to tell if you really got the discount.

They used to put it in as a meijer coupon at my store as well, but when I went they told me they would get fired if they did that. It sounded really made up and an excuse to be lazy to me, so I wrote corporate last night and will hopefully get something in writing today. I am so sick of being treated like a criminal, it's the only gorcery store in my town and hate getting nasty looks when I go in. So, we'll see what happens.
