I was also wondering if I could use the manufacturer coupon too! It says "not to be combined with other discount coupons" where their normal coupons say "not to be combined with other meijer discount coupons" Anyone know the answer to this?

Sorry.. since it says "not to be combined with other discount coupons" this means all coupons.. so we can't use a manufacturer coupon with it.. :sad:

Just wanted to bump this up again. The regular price of Purina One for cats is $6.16 at the Meijers I shop. So.......$1.16 for a bag of name brand cat food is great!

This is turning out to be a great coup for me...I've noticed that each of the past 3 weeks have had some type of Purina One dog or cat food on sale.

At my Meijer this week, the 8 lb bag was on sale for $8.50 giving me 8 lbs for $3.50 on a high quality reg priced item of over $12.

I'm hoping for another good sale on some Purina One item next week too (since the coup doesn't expire until early Sept)

I noticed in Cincinnati that the Purina One cat food is on sale this week for $5.99.
.99 cents is a great price for a 3# bag of cat food.
Too bad I have a dog.

At my Meijers the small bags of cat food are marked down again to $5.99 and I looked at the ending date on the price, and it is going through 9/6!! Yippee.... cheap cat food for at least a few more weeks!! I have been picking up a bag every time I go...and with the deals the last few weeks I have been going almost every day!

This coupon ended up being a mixed blessing, I've never been treated so poorly by store staff before.

I went through the u-scan twice, and then was told they were calling a manager on me for using a fake coupon. After making me wait for almost 10 minutes the manager finally came out. He told me he had been warned about this coupon and it wasn't valid. I told him I got it directly off the Meijer website, and pulled it up on my Iphone showing him that it was 100% valid. So he relented, caught in a lie and said it was okay for me to use them. I told him I had a bunch of coupons, and asked if it was okay if I left the store and came back in between purchases, he said okay.

So I left and came back and again the u-scan cashier gave me a hard time and called the manager, and again the manager gave permission. On my 6-7th bag a second cashier was standing next to the u-scan cashier and from 20 feet away she shouted that they were not taking my coupons anymore. She tells me that she personally spoke to the manager and he said we were not to use any more. I told her that I had actually discussed this with the manager 5 minutes ago. She then accuses me of coupon fraud, warning me that it's a FELONY. After further insisting she calls the manager, and he again okays us. To which she declares in an obnoxious voice "he doesn't look like a cat person". After she hangs up the phone I show her a picture of my cat and his name, and she rolls her eyes at me. From there on out she hassles me each trip with comments like "leave some for the rest of us" Or "there won't be much stock left now". I ended up getting 10 bags of cat food out of a stock of 60-80 bags.

Wanted to add-don't feel too bad.

Each time I go to Meijer I ALWAYS get questioned on my coupons-or rainchecks-then they call a manager.

I think it is just their general attitude about it-it's pretty pervasive.

Love this. Getting cat food for .99 has been great. I only get 1 or 2 each trip. Thanks for all for posting this!!
