Meijer: the mealbox coupon didn't deduct amount

Anyone else notice that this is happening? The past few times I've printed the coupons using the HotCoupon World coupon generator. Could that have anything to do with this problem?

It's happened at least 3 separate times at 2 different stores.

Did it take it off under the item? Mealbox usually comes off there instead of at the bottom. I don't think it's the generator if it didn't take it off as we've had trouble with some doing that for a while now..:shrug7:

ETA: I haven't had a problem with them from the generator.. they even scan easier now..

Could it be a particular one? The cashier could not get the Reynolds Wrap Mealbox to work for me but she gave it to me and it shows at the bottom of the receipt as a Meijer Q rather than showing right below the item purchased. I have used quite a few from the generator and that is the only one I recall that I have had an issue with lately, love that generator!

Mine never actually SHOW the deduction on screen. I only know that they are being deducted because the total comes out the way it is supposed to (I always know what it should be so I know when to head straight to CS).

no...it didn't come off in either spot. It's happened to me with the log cabin, m & m, and the smucker topping.

Happens to me a lot. I always watch the total go down as each coupon is scanned so that I can question it right away.

Now if you were purchasing the Log Cabin from the ad I think they were 2/$5 it is the 24 oz, the Mealbox is only good for the 36 oz size. Maybe that was it?

That's what I do too. Thankfully our cashiers are pretty good about making sure too. The only one that didn't work recently was the Meijer cinnamon rolls- tried using it on the reduced baked goods and it didn't work. Maybe it didn't recognize it because of the clearance barcode?

Do you give the Mealbox Q first or last if you have a manufacturer's Q as well?
