Meijer-coupon: one per purchase vs. one per transaction?

There is a check-out girl at our Meijer who keeps refusing my coupons when I buy two or more of the same product and use two or more coupons = one for each product.

She says that the coupon states "ONE PER PURCHASE" and therefore I can only use one coupon.

However, I disagree since the coupon doesn't state "ONE PER TRANSACTION", I should be able to use one coupon per product that I am purchasing.

She's the only one who doesn't take the other coupons and in the early morning hour that I go shopping, she is usually the only open register...all the other ones are self-checkout which I don't like to use because it doesn't scan the coupons right.

Can someone please tell me what is correct? I am so aggravated with her I could scream!

You're right. One per purchase is per item(s). Every item you buy is a 'purchase'. One per transaction is per order. I would definitely talk to the manager or fill out the survey on the receipt.

I would talk to the manager working during her shift and let him/her know this particular cashier is giving you issues. They probably don't know she is doing this.

I know when I print Meijer Mealbox coupons, at the top of the page it says:

Meijer Mealbox coupons can be combined with Manufacturer coupons. Only one Meijer Mealbox and one Manufacturer coupon per item.
