    DD3 Meijer Roll Ground Turkey

Anyone have any experience with this? $1/lb (10/10 11th free) for ground turkey is a pretty tempting price. We usually pay quite a bit more than that.

I have purchased it many times in the past, I mostly use it to make chili or something with spices or I mix it 1/2 and 1/2 with ground beef.
Our store is usually out when they put in on for 1.00. I did not even see it in the ad otherwise I would have seen if they had any or got a rain check! I think I might be going back..
I never met a coupon I did not like.

I still have about 10 lbs from the previous sale. I think this price is a steal! We make burgers and tacos with it. Kids can't tell the difference!

Thank you! We eat a lot of turkey burger and I have never seen it this cheap. Guess I haven't been paying attn to the sales. :)

It may be the difference of ground turkey BREAST vs. this meat, which is not. It is pretty high in fat -- you may compare it to ground beef before you buy it, if you are thinking it is a healthy alternative. (I personally do not know how they compare.) But that may be your price difference there.

We have used these frozen rolls of turkey for tacos, etc. and no one in my family has a problem with it. It is an excellent price!

I just bought 11 today and have already used one. My son wanted some sliders today. Usually I use beef but thought I would try these out. They were pretty good. My son liked these ones better than ones with beef. I personally have never tried it before, but I am glad I did. At $1.00 a piece it is a good deal in my opinion. I am planning on meatloaf muffins tomorrow. I might try turkeyloaf muffins. I think I may go back and get a raincheck tomorrow for some more. They sold out quickly today. The lady in front of me got at least 50. She had a lot of them in her cart.

So if you are on the fence about these, I say get one and try it. I will say the I found the texture somewhat mushier than ground beef in the little rolls. I think it is something that I can get used to though. It was great for my son because he has sensory issues and can't tolerate meats very well when he chews. This was easier for him to chew up. Anything to make his meals easier to chew is a good thing for us. I now plan on purchasing these a lot.

I think its a little mushier bc it is frozen first. It seems to still make great burgers even without bread crumbs.

I used a little bit of breadcrumbs because I didn't know how it would do. I was surprised that it made 12 sliders. For some reason I didn't think it would make that many. It would have made more but my son wanted thick ones today. $1.00 for twelve pretty big sliders, not bad at all.
