Meijer Weekly Ad 5/10-5/16

I got told today only one coupon per item per transaction, ok I bought four, so four coupons, NO, only one LIKE coupon per transaction!

That's just crazy! I don't normally shop at Meijer so I'm not too upset.

This is a sample of what I had:
4 Kraft Mayo
4 kraft Dressing
4 Oscar Mayer Hot Dogs

I used the coupons from Kraft.com and Coupons.com and then topped them with the Meijer Mealbox coupons.

The internet coupons rang thru just fine. Then when I handed her the MB q's that's when she called a manager over, even though I showed her the printout that said I could use them together.

The manager did not like all the internet coupons that I had and that's when she told me from now on, only one per transaction.

I will try the Uscan next time, because if the cashier would have know that I could use them together, there would have never been an issue and no reason for the Manager to be rude to me.

Also, the MB q's showed as CM promotion with 0.00 amount, but the correct amounts did come off of the total. (Thought that was weird).

So I'm missing my Kroger's where they love to see me save some dough.

Don't you hate when they make you feel like a criminal for using coupons and being a smart shopper??

I am finding it hard to mind my temper when I am made to feel like I am commiting a crime.

I've had pretty good luck using a u-scan. First I scan the coupons I know won't beep (manu) then save the MB for the attending cashier because I KNOW they will beep. I put the coupons that go through already in the machine, so they either don't care or don't notice that I'm combining a MB & Manu. It's worked out pretty good the several times I've gone this week.

What really made me feel bad is the lady behind me in line wanted to know where I got the coupons and I told her. I also told her and the cashier that Kraft just started a big promotion and that was why there was so many of them. She probably thinks I was trying to pull something over on Meijers now. She might have been the next coupon queen on TV!

I should have just kept talking and told them both about HCW!

I went again today, to pick up some more of the really good deals with MB. The cashier was questioning the MB q's. Where did I get them? From the Meijer website! Then she said, "We're not supposed to take a lot of Internet coupons". I asked her what the limit was. She just repeated herself. (I only had like 6 or 8 and NO duplicates)

Then, the Kraft Mac & cheese cat didn 't print, so I had to the service desk. I asked the woman there how many internet coupons they were allowed to accept & she said "We only double 2 like coupons." So, I reask, and she said, I don't think we have a limit.

Guess they are just making up as the go along. : )

Over the past few weeks I’ve noticed that when a MB coupon doesn’t come off I have already used a MF coupon on that item. I had always saved my MB coupons for scanning last so I was having problems with all of the MB coupons except for the ones that weren’t being combined with a MF coupon. Lately I’ve been scanning the MB coupons first even though that means the u-scan attendant will have to make a second trip over if one of my MF coupons beep. But since I’ve started doing it that way all of the MB coupons come off and I don’t have any problems with the MF coupons coming off of products that I’ve already used a MB coupon on.

i always hand all the mealbox coupons first, so that the cashier doesn't think "hey, she already used a coupon for that item" (although in retrospect, that might happen both ways...). i did have a problem this week with the oscar meyer MB Qs not going through. i usually double check my receipt right before i leave the store, but my 10 month old daughter was crying, so we just jetted out of there. i noticed that they didn't come off when i got home. i went to the service desk today and the guy was so nice... he gave me my $2 back! sweet!

I thought my Meijer was out of OM Hot Dogs as well but I found them in a endcap on one of the meat cases. Just a thought to maybe check there too!

Ok.......my brain is about to EXPLODE trying to figure out the kraft deals.......
1) Am I understanding that the ritz crackers do NOT work for the cracker cheese deal?
2) Do the artisan BOGO coupons work for the cracker and cheese deal? If they do work for the cracker and cheese deal, do they also work for the free crystal light deal?
3) Is it better to get nabisco 100 calorie packs at Meijer with the cat deal or at Target?

Yes this is a crazy Kraft week isn't it!

I do know that the artisan WT do not work for the catalina crystal light. Not sure about the cheese, but I'm guessing yes it should work since they are a WT within the sizes given.

My Meijer had nabisco 100 cal packs at 3.19 a package...so target was a better deal for me.
