The "cool deal" Meijer discount coupons in this week's flyer includes $1 off 2 "Pepperidge Farm Garlic Bread, Texas Toast,or Cheese Bread. Combining this with the mfg coupon from the Sunday inserts a few weeks back, and the fact that they're on sale makes them $1 each!!

I did this deal today to make sure and it went without any problems. The picture on the Meijer discount coupon only showed the Texas toast, but as you can see from my quote above, the mozzarella bread is included.

I did this tonight but I did not get $2.00 off for the free bread. It rung up as bread $2.00-$1.50 free item -$0.50 (in ad coupon). So it is really $6.50 for everything. Not bad.

That's strange, I bought a $2 bread and they gave $2 off of it. Maybe because I only bought one bread and didn't use the two additional bread coupons the discounts work differently.
