My meijer usually only doubles two of the same coupons. I went yesterday to Meijer and used a coupon I had from when the Green Giant Steamers were 10/$10+1. I got my 11 Bags and used 11 $.50 coupons and they all doubled. I was shocked I figured only the first 2 would.
So my question is when using rain checks do you get unlimited double coupons or was this a fluke?
Thank you,
Jenni
My Meijer (Florence, KY) only doubles 2 of the same coupon. Unless they changed and I do not know it.
If you have your local ad, check at the bottom of the front page and see what the coupon disclaimer says. Here in Central Indiana only two like coupons will double. Even on rainchecks. I have learned though, when getting my rainchecks that I know I have coupons for that need to double, I ask for three rainchecks for the item with a limit of two on each one. 90% of the time, they will do it. This way I am still only getting a raincheck for 6, but I am able to double coupons for all of them.
Mom to a wonderful little boy.
We are in Central Indiana.
Maybe the cashier had to manually enter the coupon? If it was scanned normally, then the register should recognize them as the same coupon and only two would double. But if they had to type them in as a generic manufacturer's coupon, then the register wouldn't have realized that they were the same coupon. At least, that's the way the system worked when I was a cashier a few years ago.
I'm in Northern Indiana and my ad says that only 2 alike coupons would be doubled. I watched the cashier as she scanned each one and they all went through, she never manually entered any of them.
I ususally do grab a couple different rainchecks to use multiple coupons, but this time I didn't. i just figured I would take the lost on the extra coupon amount, but I was surprised when it took it off.
I guess it was a fluke.
Thank you all.
