Just to update on using the mealbox q for the tomato soup ... I think my store (Champaign, IL) was having issues with computer printed q's or my printer was at fault some how because I used two different mealbox q's (one I knew had to work because it was the one for $1/2 Campbell's select harvest, which was pretty straight forward) and both required the cashier to come over. I switched Uscan machines, thinking it might just be the machine, and it happened again. I was going to stock up on these, but decided after a few tries that it wasn't worth it. I might go back later this week. This is only $.05 per can, after mealboxQ, than what I paid last year so I was very excited about the price. Just wish I hadn't needed to call over the cashier for each transaction.

Tonight I bought 2 gal milk, 4 spaghettios, some marked down banana and eggs. I used the self scan (12 items or less) and 1 MBQ for the spaghettios. I needed a cashier overide for that one coupon, so it must be something with the MBQs.

My finding is that all the MB q's require the cashier. They are a PITA

Today I found the Healthy Ones 8 oz lunch meat 2/$3...regularly $1.79. With the Qs in Sunday's paper or the 55c pdf in the database, they are 50c each (my store doubles).

I did not have any trouble with my mealbox coupons today on some Coffeemate creamer, and the Select Harvest. I did notice something different in the way that they show up on the receipt though. They did not come off at the bottom, but rather right after the item. And in the case of the Select Harvest it took .50 off each of the cans individually, rather than $1.00 off at once. It did the same with the Condensed soups....that is new to my store. It made it hard to read the receipt at first, trying to figure out where the Mealbox coupons went.

Yeah, it did that for the Select Harvest on mine too. Really confused me. I even told the cashier it didn't take it off, then she had to point it out to me. Don't really like it that way, but I guess it helps if someone decides to return something . . . ????

I think I'll call my local store about their MBQs, since I would like to go there again this week. (It is 30 min from here and I don't go daily.) And since this isn't on the first page but we have talked about it I'll write it out . . .
