Meijer's store brand diapers - Opinions?

I recently heard from a relative that she thinks these are just as good as Pampers. Really stretchy, and absorbent. They're pretty inexpensive compared to the name brands, so I was just wondering if any of you have used them, and what you thought? I'm probably going to pick up a pack this weekend to try just for the heck of it, unless of course you all convince me not to! TIA!

Hmmm, would like to know that as well, but I can tell you that I just recently tried the Walgreens brand of training pants, and I am very satisfied. I totally ran out of my usual brand and didn't know of any good deals, and Wags had a sale on them that made it totally worth it for me. Now at least I know I got other options. :)

I have been unimpressed with the Meijer brand. I have been buying a lot of store brands lately and Meijer is by far the worst. The Walgreens are great.. no leaks, good absorbtion, no rash. The CVS diapers fall apart and give my daughter an awful rash. The Meijer, however, leaked almost every single night. I cannot even count the number of pajamas I went through while she was wearing those things. It improved when we went up a size, but they were pretty big on her and it still didn't stop completely. HTH!

I personally am not a fan, but I have a few friends who are loyal to them. My kids leaked through them pretty bad. Walgreens doesn't hold as good as huggies for my DD, but I absolutely LOVE their training pants for my DS. Every kid is different and mind are drinkers, so that might just be our problem.

We love Meijer diapers, just as much as WAGs - though you can get a better deal at WAGs sometimes, with all the RRs and stuff.

I just bought my second pack today. So far so good. I am talking about the ones called Dri-Babies? Or something like that? I know that they had some in a yellow package that were maybe cheaper, but I went with the Meijer brand ones and I do like them. We have been using Target brand for some time now, and have no leaks, but haven't made it to Target for awhile. Each child is different, each parent is different, but IMO, I would *never* pay full price for Pampers or Huggies, when store brands are working fine for 1/2 the price!

I don't like the Meijer diapers, personally. They don't work very well for us and make my son break out in a rash. However, the BRU brand work very well and they are only $23 for a case of 100 size 4's. HTH

I've been using Meijer brand diapers for a few months now. I find that they work just fine; no leaks or rashes here. I agree with a pp, I can't justify spending the money on name brand diapers when store brand are just fine. I used to be really picky about diapers. But when I started having to buy diapers for two, I decided that they are pee and poop holders, and as long as they're not causing problems, generic are perfectly fine!
