Meijer shoppers, must read! RE: Mealbox coupons and stacking

Hey guys!

I just learned that the Mealbox coupons now have the disclaimer "not to be combined with any other discount coupons".

That means that they are not intended to be combined with manufacturer coupons or another Meijer store coupon. Because of this, we must refrain from discussing using the Mealbox coupons and manufacturer coupons together on one item.

Any discussion relating to combining the Mealbox coupons and manufacturer coupons, or combining Mealbox coupons with another Meijer store coupon is not allowed. All posts violating this rule will be deleted and given a warning/infraction.

I just went and looked at the coupons it doe not say "DISCOUNT COUPONS" it just says QUOTE" ONE COUPON PER PURCHASE
NOT TO BE COMBINED WITH ANY OTHER DISCOUNTS" end QUOTE

When you click to print, the wording changes on the actual coupon to "discount coupons".

Update: A fellow mod has helped me to contact a Meijer store manager. We were told that these coupons are not intended to be combined with other coupons. I have also written to Meijer and asked for clarification. When I receive a response, I will let you know and that will be the official word.

I still haven't heard back from Meijer, though I'm not surprised as I got the same runaround another time I was trying to get a question answered. I'll email them again in a day or two if I don't hear back. I even gave my phone # - which I never give out - in case they wanted to contact me that way.

Just wanted to let you guys know that I STILL haven't heard back from Meijer after TWO email requests.

At this point we have no other choice but to adhere to the exact wording on the coupons and believe that "no other discount coupons" means literally NO OTHER COUPONS, whether or not you believe that coupons are considered a discount or a form of currency.

Again, no further discussion of combining the mealbox coupons with either manufacturer or other Meijer store coupons will be allowed.

I printed some out today at work and they have also added "One coupon per transaction" which wasn't there last week when I printed them out...

I am new here so have a question...when you say "cannot be combinded w/ any other coupon..." what exactly does that mean? I'm sorry, as I said, I am new to this site as well as couponing and I didn't think you could use more than one coupon on one item to begin with. Tx for any help you can give me.

Hi kellykare!

At some stores you can use a store coupon with a manufacturer's coupon, hence using two "coupons" for one item. I believe that the new wording for the Meijer coupons is so that you cannot do this anymore. You can either use the store coupon OR the manufacturer's coupon, but not both.
