Yes, this thread should only be for the catalina deal for Colgate. The P&G deal isn't a catalina deal. There are at least 2 threads under the main Meijer forum where the P&G deal is being talked about more too.

I did see some clearance Colgate items at the Meijer I stopped at after work. I didn't try them though because I wanted to do more of the P&G deal.

I don't know if trials worked for Colgate today. They worked yesterday for me.

Has anyone worked out a scenerio with "regular" merchandise instead of trials? Trials worked for me on Sunday, but not on Monday evening.

I'm really not looking to make out like a bandit on this deal, but free, in moderation, is always nice.

I did this today with regular size Colgates. The Max Fresh was on clearance for $1.74. So I used 3 .50/1 coupons (2 doubled, 1 did not) and a $1/1 IP. My total came to $5.xx with tax and I got the $5 OYNO coupon.

I tried today with the single bars of Irish Spring...no catalina.

Tried this deal again today with regular sized items and it still DID NOT work. All that came out was the advertisement for the the catalina. Kept waiting for it to come out and it never did.

This is what I purchased:

2 Palmolive dish soaps: $2.78
1 Softsoap: $1.67
1 Colgate MaxFresh $1.74
1 Lady Speed Stick: $2.12
Total $8.31
Coupons: -$3.70 (I think)

Total $4.61 get OYNO $5.00

Went to CS and explained ~ they gave me a hand written OYNO. It's a pain!

Anyone else with this problem, in Michigan?

Yesterday I did one combo of 2 trial size colgate toothpaste, 1 Palmolive dishwasher soap and 2 Teen Speedstick and got the $5 cat.

Today I did one combo of 2 trial size colgate toothpaste, 1 Palmolive dishwasher soap and 2 softsoap pumps and a cat did not print. This was about 4:15 pm. Maybe they did change it.

i did 2 transactions purchasing regular items i got cat on the first one and the second didn't instead it printed out an ad saying it'll start on the 8th.
note: both 2 transactions have the same items and sizes. i did this monday evening.

does anyone here think that the cat is good for the first purchase only? do their system recognize credit cards used if they've already printed a cat with it?
