1982 Bisquick Impossible Pie Recipes I will type these as I can, and bump when I add a new one! They are cool-- they make their own crust! And most of you can make them cheaply or free from stockpile ingredients!!! Other similar recipes are on the Bisquick web site!
IMPOSSIBLE CHEESEBURGER PIE
1lb ground beef
1 1/2 c chopped onion
1 1/2 c milk
3/4 c Bisquick baking mix
3 eggs
1/2 t salt
Pepper to taste
2 sliced tomatoes
1 c shredded Cheddar or processed American (Velveeta) cheese
Heat over to 400. Grease pie plate, 10 x 1 1/2 inches. Brown beef with onion, drain. Spread beef mixture in pan. Beat milk, baking mix, eggs, S/P until smooth. (15 sec. in blender ot 1 minute by hand) Pour over beef. Bake 25 minutes. Top with tomatoes, sprinkle with cheese. Bake until knife inserted in center comes out clean, 5-8 more minutes. Cool 5 minutes. (Serves 6-8; high altitude increase first bake time to 30 minutes)
IMPOSSIBLE QUESADILLA PIE
2 cans (4oz each) chopped green chiles, drained
4 c shredded cheddar cheese
2 cups milk
1 c Bisquick baking mix
4 eggs
Heat oven to 425. Grease pie pan. Sprinkle chiles and cheese in pan. Beat remaining ingredients until smooth (15 sec in blender or 1 minute by hand). Pour over chiles and cheese. Bake until knife inserted between center and edge comes out clean-- 25-30 minutes. Cool 10 min. Serve with sour cream & guacamole if desired. (Serves 6-8; High altitude= 40 minutes)
IMPOSSIBLE BACON PIE
12 slices bacon, fried crisp & crumbled
1 c shredded natural Swiss cheese
1/3 c chopped onion
2 c milk
1 c Bisquick baking mix
1/4 t salt
Pepper to taste
Heat oven to 400. Grease pie pan. Sprinkle bacon, onion and cheese in pan. Beat remaining ingredients until smooth (15 sec in blender or 1 minute by hand). Pour over bacon, onion and cheese. Bake until knife inserted between center and edge comes out clean-- 35-40 minutes. Cool 5 min. (Serves 6; High altitude= no adjustments)
IMPOSSIBLE LASAGNE PIE
1 lb ground beef
1 t dried oregano
1/2 t dried basil
1 can (6oz) tomato paste
1 c shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 c small curd cottage cheese or ricotta
1/4 c grated Parmesan cheese
1 c milk
2/3 c Bisquick baking mix
2 eggs
1 t salt
1/4 t pepper
Heat oven to 40. Grease 8x8 pan. Brown beef, drain. Stir in oregano, basil, tomato paste and 1/2 c of mozarella. Layer ricotta & Parmesan in pan. Spread beef over top. Beat milk, baking mix, eggs, S/P until smooth. (15 sec. in blender ot 1 minute by hand) Pour over beef. Bake until knife inserted in center comes out clean, 30-35 minutes. Sprinkle with remaining cheese. Cool 5 minutes. (Serves 6-8; high altitude= no adjustments)
