marsh triples again this weekend BUT....

well just got back from my local marsh all excited i missed the last triple coupon sale and was super ecstatic to find out theres one starting tomorrow i wasnt too worried when they mentioned a limit of 3 and that it was gonna be "different this time" i figured it was like kroger limit of 3 identical items got home called every marsh when 40 miles and heres the deal as far as i can tell:
1) you must have a $50.00 order

2) you must get a coupon outta paper or from customer service (while 150 per store last)

3) heres the bummer: they will happily triple 3 coupons thats it

just 3

for your whole order ...... not per item for a total of (drum roll please)
9 whole dollars of savings didnt find out till after corporate closed am still gonna call tomorrow am just to double check

well, that's definitely not worth it for me, our Marsh is incredibly over-priced!! Even with the last round of triples, there were still some items I could find cheaper elsewhere!

i know ive joined marsh on facebook and i encourage all to join in on the conversation many unhappy people about this marsh has posted on their wall about this and it seems it has gotten worse from what i can understand you will need one coupon out of your local paper for EACH of the 3 manufacturers coupons you wish to triple still cant find out if the 50 dollar order is b4 or after coupons marsh states on facebook that they cant "afford" to run triples like they ran last time yet my local krogers triple up to 50cent 365 days/year please join marsh on facebook and express your thoughts about this new promotion maybe just maybe with enough posters they will change their minds?

Well, that is a bummer. Did they say what paper the coupon will be in? I live close enough that I could maybe do two trips. I am just wondering if the limit is per card. Not a big deal since hubby has his own card that he uses if I ask him to pick up stuff on his way home from work. The only thing I am really not liking is a $50 minimum purchase. That right there may keep from even pursuing the matter.

I haven't even glanced at this weeks ad. I could probably swing $50 before coupons and possibly come up with a couple of deals to make it worth the trip. But if the $50 is AC, NOPE. I got better things to do on my holiday weekend. lol

Which Indiana Kroger triples all the time?? I'm thinking a road trip might be in order, LOL. Here in Central Indiana it is only doubles up to 50 cents.

my scotts in decatur and bluffton triple up to .50 cents so every .50 is 1.50 fairly certain ft. waynes krogers do too but would call first
from the way marsh talks on FB you would need a coupon for each of the three manufacturers you want to triple so heres my calculations

max extra value of triple 1 coupons (xs 3) = 6.00
minus cost of 3 newspapers is ymmv == 1.50
is a total "savings" of 4.50 max

pretty sad if you ask me :( :( :(

called ft wayne kroger they verified that they do triple up to .50 cents every day will need a kroger card though and thats free to sign up for

I wonder if they realize this is 4th of July weekend, not April fools day. This is surely a joke. Who in their right mind would ever spend $50 at the inflated Marsh prices to save at most an extra $6 with coupons.
