Closeouts Section

Marc's WILL allow coupons on their closeout items. Recently they posted the following response to this question on their Facebook page:

"We are trying to get all of our stores on the same page, but it is hard because we have changed it to try to make it better for our customers. If you are having a problem, please print our coupon policy (All About Us - Marc) to show them &/or tell them you spoke to corporate about it. Sorry for the inconvenience & thanks for choosing Marc's!"

Thanks for posting. It is interesting I emailed corporate and a CS rep emailed me back and said: "I would like explain our policy with closeout coupons over the phone as it is easier then trying to explain in an email." I thought it was a simple yes or no?

Just a follow up. Finally got around to calling CS back. I did speak to them and they confirmed that they do take MQ on closeouts; however, there was a caveat. They will only take them if the product you are buying from the closeout section is an item they carry in the normal inventory. For obvious reasons if you know anything about manufacturer redemption policy. She did agree to contact the assistant manager that told me that they do not take them and set her straight. Hopefully, next go around I will not get the hassle.

I have to disagree with the caveat on this. Once again on the Marc's FB page someone asked and the answer from Marc's made no mention of a caveat. We couponers need to stick together and make sure stores follow their policies!!
