I took your advice and went to see about the covergirl makeup. The store had the lip gloss for .99. I picked up five and some other items. At the checkout, the cashier was unsure how to do the coupons, since they were more than the item. She got one guy over and he said he thought you just mark the coupon amount down (which is what I expected given the coupon policy). He wasn't sure, so another CS person came over and told me that I couldn't use them at all on close out items. I emailed corporate to find out if it was true. Does anyone know about this, since the coupon policy doesn't mention that coupons can't be used on close outs. Thanks

There is no policy on their website stating coupons can not be used on closeouts. I would be interested in seeing what type of response you get.

Check out the post on Marc's FB page regarding this issue (copied here): We are trying to get all of our stores on the same page, but it is hard because we have changed it to try to make it better for our customers. If you are having a problem, please print our coupon policy (All About Us - Marc) to show them &/or tell them you spoke to corporate about it. Sorry for the inconvenience & thanks for choosing Marc's!
