    QUESTION Lowe's 10% off coupon

Yesterday I used a coupon for ten percent off on our roofing supplies. Is there a limit as to how many you can use per year? I know it's for people who "move". Do they somehow track these? Just curious........

I've used many of these over the years and had no problems.

So, I have gotten some things from Lowes when we have moved before, but never used them. Are these 10% off wyb a certain $$, sign up for a lowes credit card, or just a true 10% off your purchase no matter what size? And how do I get one, sign up somewhere, address change packet at post office, etc?

I got the Lowe's coupon at their website by requesting one. It came thru email a few hours later. Sometimes I think they mail them in the usps mail. I was so happy it arrived so quickly and could use it since I waited til last minute to request it.

I signed up for a 10% coupon on their website..it is a "moving" coupon. Mine never came via email or the mail. I called 5 times in one month...nothing. Finally, I didn't want to wait any longer, so I bought 3 on ebay for something like $3. It saved me $300. A well spent $3 I would say.
But then the coupon came in the mail 2 days later!! Oh well!!! I shop there all the time, so I am sure we will use it soon.

For the coupon that I got in the email via ebay.....consider this as an option if you need to buy something at Home Depot or Lowes...they are cheap and come in a day or 2 via email. Yes, they get them the same way you can too, but hey! If it doesn't work for you, just buy them on ebay.

OK,,, now how I understand this about Lowes coupons is that the UPC barcode has a number under it that is specific to that coupon. If you try to use the same number twice, it shouldn't work. I believe they track their own coupon redemption....but I never tested it.

    Important!!!!

If you get a Lowes coupon via email (I got my 3 via email from my ebay seller)...be sure to save the coupon to your computer..and print out a ton of copies. Yes- Home Depot will take competitor coupons!!!!!!! I mean, check your store before you get mad at me...but all the ones in my area have taken them. Of course, I think you have to use them before they expire...I don't think they take expireds like LNT and BBB does...do they???
The good thing is that Home Depot does not have a way to track if you presented that coupon already or not..sweet!! So use a Lowes coupon every time you shop at HD! Over and over.

I think they are just grateful that you chose to shop at their store, instead of the competitor. You could easily throw your money at the competitor...to give 10% is nothing really.

I read on another board from a Lowes employee poster that you don't even need the coupon...he claims any employee is able to give you a 10% discount, yours for the asking! I never tested this...but give it a try!

I had a super nice manager at my store...I explained to him my moving coupon woes...how it took over a month to get to me...in the meantime we were renovating our kitchen and spent over $1000 in Lowes, and he not only applied the coupon to the microwave I originally came in for....I showed him my masssive stack of receipts from that month, and he postsale couponed the 10% and deducted $100 from my order to thank me for my patience with the coupon delivery. Nice! Now, where do YOU think I will be spending my money in the future on home improvement stuff...Home Depot or Lowes??
