Lowes Home Improvement ~ Clearance: Good price on Mason jars I think....

Found some mason jars marked down...at my local Lowes store

12 pint size wide mouth mason jars from Ball for 3.75 (marked down from 9.xx)
The wide mouth qt size ones were around 4.xx if I remember correctly (marked down from 9.xx).

Pretty good price I think....Pls. correct me if wrong.

I get them free though freecycle.

But I think if your purchasing them new...that's a pretty good price.

If you can't get them through freecycle or something similar, grab those mark-downs at Lowe's. That's a great price. I wonder if Lowe's takes manufacturer's Qs. There's a $3/2 case Q exp 10/31 floating around out there.

holy crap! I go through, literally, hundreds of jars a year(Farmer's Market). #1...I didn't know Lowe's carried jars (I wonder if that's regional) #2...That's an AWESOME price

That is a great price, the best I could find new was walmart. Where in the store are these? I was just there this morning but will need to go back b/c I want to try out canning.

At my store, they had a small stand alone unit, it was by the glass doors, right before you walk out to the garden/patio furniture area.
You may want to ask the ppl at the store as it may be located differently at your store.
