Lowes Home Improvement ~ Rave: Lowes actually honored a plant guarantee

for me today. I keep my receipts for everything but I bought this about 10 months ago and it would have taken time to find the receipt. I bought a crape myrtle the first part of summer time frame. It never did do well last year and when the others I bought and planted a few weeks early in the same season bloom today, I knew it was dead. I kept the tag of the plant because I had never grown one before and wanted to make sure I had proof of purchase from that store just incase since it never looked good when I planted it.

They honored it and gave me store credit which I wanted anyway because I just need to replace the dead one. This years version was cheaper, bigger and looked a lot better. Good deal.

Not really a coupon savings but a savings was to be had.

I have used their plant guarantee for a few years now. I have bad luck with roses where I am, only one or 2 take when a plant them. They have never refused as long as its within the year.

I love Lowe's. They always take my periennals and bushes that don't come back. Never have a problem. I take my receipt with the containers. I have a stack of containers with the flower identify tab. It is a lot easier. They have also taken back brick that I changed my mind on the following year. LOL. I also have a repoire with the Garden People.

I had to dig up some bulbs and put them in a plastic bag to bring them back before I got my money back. Weird?

Only the green part grew not the flowers.

I just recently took back 2- 7 gallon azaleas and had no problem getting my money back. I kind of wanted to just get replacements since I got them on clearance last year but the lady just gave me my money back. Now I'm waiting to see if my peony comes back. It's got a couple weeks to spruce up or it's going back.
